The Philippine Coast Guard requires service contractors to submit Oil Spill Contingency Plan (OSCP) based on the 2008 National Oil Spill Contingency Plan (NOSCP 2008). Part of OSCP is a preparation of Oil Spill Trajectory Modeling, which is also part of the EIA documents necessary to predict possible impact of the projects. 

SOS is one of the first, if not the first, who prepared and submitted an approved OSCP based on NOSCP 2008.
